Spring/Summer Update!

In March, Michael and I bought our first home! We are in Bonney Lake, WA.
It's hard to take pictures of the whole rooms. There is a video of the house in the previous blog.
The house is 2500sq ft. 4 Bedrooms/2 1/2 Bath.
We love it!

Michael and I have also begun lots of yard work.

In April, Michael and I switched to 4th shift at work. Which is working 4, 10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday. And Friday is our overtime day. We really like working this shift. We are less tired at work!
Moving to 4th shift meant that I not longer could be with my LifeGroup at church, I really miss that. The one thing I wish I didn't have to give up.

In May, we decided to take a spur of the moment road trip to Southern California! Working 4th shift allowed us to leave right after work on a Thursday night. We decided to do this on our lunch break, 6 hours before we would be leaving. The trip was alot of fun. Michael, Dan, Jon Wayne, and I drove down to Santa Clarita/Newhall area and stayed at my Aunt's house. We went to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor 1 day, and then Six Flags Magic Mountain 1 day. We got family, sun, roller coasters and of course we had In N Out Burger 4 times!

In June/July, we were able to spend time spend time with some awesome friends!
I spent a day with Crystal and we went Red Robbin.
Then the week after were able to see Seth and Angel McDowell, plus the cutest kiddos! Levi and Rebecca.  And got to see Crystal again before she left! Wish we could all see each other more often. It'd be fun to take a trip out to visit them both!

Levi is saying "cheese". So cute!

What a sweetheart! She is just too cute!

We also spend Saturday with Michael's Grandparents and part of the family. We went to Olive Garden! Very good food! Also Matt, Michael's brother was over for the 4th of July weekend. We blew up lots of fireworks! Lots of fun!

Our firework finale! Thanks to Louis and his friend!

Super recently, I have been working out. I'm doing Jillian Michael's Six Week 6 Pack. Trying to get fit for the summer and would like to start running too. I would also like to try extreme couponing. I've started collecting.
Michael has been working hard a work to get certified for X-Ray. Last week he took his X-Ray tests and he passed! He took 4 tests and he had to get 100% on the practical. I am so proud of him! He is now Level 2 NDT (Non Destructive Testing) certified! He checks welds for airplane parts, so lot's of responsibly!

This past Tuesday I went to the Point Defiance Zoo with my co-worker, Kimberly. We had a blast and enjoyed the sunshine as well!

Next trip is Lake Powell in August. I will try to post between now and then!

Bonney Lake House

Last month we tried to see if we would quality to get a house. Surprisingly we do! After a week of looking at houses we found one we love in Bonney Lake, WA. The home inspection was done last we and everything looks great. We are just waiting to the FHA appraisal to get done and then paperwork to be signed after that!

We are so thankful to find this home. It's 4 bed/2 1/2 bath, at least 2500 sqft for 209,000! Just praying the rest of the process going smooth. We should be moving in by the end of this month! We will keep you updated. :-)

Take a look!

2011 Begins

2011 is here, well a month into it.

I decided to start up P90X again. It' a 90 workout program. I previously did P90X for about 2 months, then we got cranky complainers at our apartment so we moved. It had been 2 1/2 months since we moved and I hadn't picked it up again. So I thought it's gotta be now or never. Now I play indoor soccer twice a week, but when I got married I forgot about taking care of my body and working out. Soccer is a good workout and I really enjoy it, but I need a full body work out too.

Today is Day 11 of P90X. So soccer 2 days a week and P90X 6-7 days a week, it keeps me busy.

Michael and I started going to Calvary Community Church, in Sumner,Wa.
We really enjoy it. I joined a womens Life group, and Michael is looking to join a mens group. It's interesting going somewhere where you don't know anyone, but we feel comfortable and welcome!

Update on Michael: While playing soccer Thursday, he landed on his neck and shoulder. Being himself he popped back up and kept running. Later that night when he got home, he noticed a ton of pain in his shoulder and he felt dizzy and nausea. The next day he couldn't push open doors or hold stuff out in front of him. So we went to the doctor on Saturday and got X-rays. The doctor said Michael has an AC Sprain in his shoulder, it should heal up in a week or so, but he needs to rest it. Michael also hurt his pinky finger at soccer too, playing goal keeper. The doctor said it was just a contusion and not broken. Praying that Michael heals quickly and keeps healthy.

Here a photo I took last month from the main road by our place. Mt. Rainier is beautiful!

Work Update & Friends

We were able to have 4 days off work for thanksgiving weekend. During that weekend we bought a new TV stand from Costco. It took us at least 4 hours to put it together. Just a ton of pieces and steps to build it. Here it is!

This past week Michael and I both had a busy week. I worked 58 hours. Michael had X-Ray training/class for 40 hours this week, with no X-Ray experience yet. While other people in the class had 600-2200 hours X-Ray experience. At the end of the week he had to take a test and get at least 70% to pass. Michael passed with a 72%!!! with no X-Ray experience.

After a just busy and tiring week we were about to relax on Saturday night. Ryan (Snayr) and Rachel came over to visit. Michael made taco salad for dinner. Then we played Settlers of Catan. (Rachel won). We played bowling and golf on the Wii. (Michael won both). And then we finished off with some DDR! Gotta practice that more. =)

Thanksgiving Week

November 22nd.

We had just traded in the Mustang and got the Suburban...just in God's timing! Monday, Michael and I headed off to work. While at work it began to snow and by the time we got home from work everything but the streets were covered in snow. After we got home the snow starting covering the streets. Total we got at least 6 1/2 inches of snow. Thankfully we were able to make it to work on Tuesday and Wednesday, on snow and ice covered streets. I wanna say at least half the employees at work didn't make it on Tuesday. Here's some photos of our winter wonderland! :)

Thanksgiving Day

We had our first Thanksgiving at our house! My (Angela's) parents and Michael's Dad and brother were able to come celebrate with us. We made our 1st turkey and it came out great! We have so much left overs. Still finishing them up this week.
